PM Shehbaz meets President Zardari to discuss political situation

Islamabad, December 23,2024: Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif met with President Asif Ali Zardari at the Aiwan-e-Sadr to discuss national affairs and the prevailing political situation.

The meeting was attended by Deputy Prime Minister Ishaq Dar, Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Governor Faisal Karim Kundi, Raja Pervaiz Ashraf, and Naveed Qamar.

According to an official statement, the prime minister conveyed his best wishes for President Zardari’s health. The discussion focused on the overall political, economic, and security situation in the country. Both leaders reaffirmed their commitment to work together for national development.

The prime minister and the president also deliberated on legislative matters in Parliament. They agreed to proceed with legal affairs through consultation with all political stakeholders.

President Zardari assured Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif of his full cooperation for the country’s development and stability.
