President summons NA session on January 13, key legislation expected

Islamabad, January 12,2025: President Asif Ali Zardari has summoned a session of the National Assembly to be held on Monday, January 13, at 5:00 PM.

According to the National Assembly Secretariat, the session has been called by the President under the powers conferred by Clause (1) of Article 54 of the Constitution. The upcoming session will be the 12th session of the 16th National Assembly.

Sources indicate that the session will include discussions on the country’s current situation and law and order. Additionally, the Madrasah Registration Ordinance, issued by the President, will be presented during the session.

Key legislation is expected to be tabled and deliberated upon during this important meeting of the National Assembly.
