Rawalpindi, September 6, 2024 – Former Prime Minister and Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman, Imran Khan, allegedly issued a threat to National Accountability Bureau (NAB) investigation officer, Mohsin Haroon, during a hearing in the Toshakhana reference case at Rawalpindi’s Adiala Jail.

According to reports, Imran Khan confronted the NAB officer during the hearing, accusing him of orchestrating cases that resulted in the imprisonment of his wife, Bushra Bibi. In a heated exchange, Khan allegedly said, “Because of the cases you’ve fabricated, my wife is in jail. Once I’m released, I won’t spare you or the NAB Chairman. I will take you both to court.” Several witnesses were reportedly present during the confrontation.

The hearing, presided over by Accountability Court Judge Nasir Javed Rana, was focused on the bail petitions filed by Imran Khan and Bushra Bibi. However, the session was adjourned until September 9 due to the absence of the NAB prosecutor.
