Ramallah, January 25, 2025: In the second prisoner exchange under the Gaza ceasefire agreement, 200 Palestinian prisoners were released from two Israeli jails. Three buses carrying the released prisoners reached Ramallah, where they were warmly welcomed by the public.

According to Arab media, 16 of the released prisoners were transported to Gaza, where they were taken to Gaza Hospital in the southern region of Khan Yunis.

In the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, the released prisoners received an enthusiastic reception from the crowd. Many of the prisoners were carried on the shoulders of the people, while large numbers of citizens waved Palestinian flags and made victory signs in celebration.

Earlier, Hamas also released four female hostages, all of whom were members of the Israeli military.

Meanwhile, Israeli military operations continue in the occupied West Bank city of Jenin, with 14 Palestinians martyred over five days, and 3,000 Palestinian families forcibly displaced.
