Rawalpindi, January 25, 2025: Security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation in the general area of Bagh, Khyber District, following reports of the presence of terrorists, known as khwarij.

During the operation, the troops effectively engaged the terrorists’ location, resulting in the elimination of four khwarij, including key leaders Aziz ur Rehman (also known as Qari Ismail) and Mukhlis. Two other terrorists were injured in the operation.

Weapons and ammunition were recovered from the bodies of the deceased terrorists, who were actively involved in numerous acts of terrorism in the region, including attacks on security forces and the killing of innocent civilians.

A sanitization operation is ongoing to ensure the area is cleared of any remaining terrorists. The security forces remain committed to eradicating the threat of terrorism and ensuring peace across the country.
