Rawalpindi, February 16, 2025: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Asim Munir has reaffirmed that the Armed Forces will not allow Fitna al-Khawarij to impose their ideology on Pakistan.

Speaking to students in a special session at GHQ, Rawalpindi, General Asim Munir stated, “The Pakistan Army is actively combating miscreants and Khawarij elements. Islam has given clear guidance regarding troublemakers—those who deviate from its true teachings and distort its message.”

Highlighting Pakistan’s rich religious, cultural, and historical heritage, he said, “We take pride in our faith, civilization, and traditions. Those who claim to fight in the name of jihad—what version of Shariah do they follow?”

The COAS firmly defended women’s rights, asserting, “Islam has granted women their rights in every aspect of life. Who gave the Khawarij the authority to take them away? The rights granted by Islam are inviolable.”

General Munir warned that no extremist ideology will be allowed to dominate Pakistan. “We will never permit misguided elements to impose their outdated mindset on this country. Pakistan’s future is in safe hands,” he assured.

Emphasizing national unity, he stated, “For us, Pakistan comes first. The brave people of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan stand as an iron wall against terrorism. The entire nation, especially the youth, stands shoulder to shoulder with the Pakistan Army.”

He concluded by expressing confidence in the nation’s young generation, saying, “As long as our youth stand with us, the Pakistan Army will never be defeated.”
