According to the Motorway Police, the accident occurred due to the driver’s negligence, causing the passenger bus—operated by Gulab Coach Bus Service—to overturn.

Rescue teams and Motorway Police swiftly reached the scene, shifting the injured to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Chakwal. Authorities reported that 15 passengers sustained minor injuries and were provided first aid, while three passengers remain in critical condition.
