HBL PSL 10 to kick off on April 11 with Islamabad United vs. Lahore Qalandars

Lahore, February 28, 2025 – The 10th edition of the HBL Pakistan Super League (PSL X) is set to begin on Friday, April 11, with defending champions Islamabad United facing two-time winners Lahore Qalandars at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium.

According to a press release issued by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Friday, the six-team tournament will feature 34 matches across four cities from April 11 to May 18. The Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, will host 13 matches, including the two Eliminators and the Final.

This edition will also feature an exhibition match on April 8 in Peshawar, with participating teams to be announced later.

Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium will host 11 matches, including Qualifier 1 on May 13 while National Bank Stadium, Karachi, and Multan Cricket Stadium will each host five matches.

The tournament will feature three double-headers, with two on Saturdays and one on Labour Day (May 1).

Karachi Kings, winners of PSL V, will start their campaign on April 12 at home against Multan Sultans, last season’s runners-up. Multan Sultans, champions of PSL VI, will host their first match against Lahore Qalandars on April 22.

Lahore Qalandars, winners of PSL VII and VIII, will play their first home match at the newly renovated Gaddafi Stadium on April 24 against Peshawar Zalmi.

Peshawar Zalmi, champions of PSL 2017, will play five matches in Rawalpindi.

Quetta Gladiators, winners of PSL IV, will play five matches at Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore.
