Rawalpindi, March 4, 2025: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Salman Akram Raja on Tuesday launched a scathing attack on the government, accusing it of deception and manipulation. He remarked that figures like Pervez Khattak naturally find advisory roles in a regime built on dishonesty and coercion.

Speaking to the media outside the Islamabad High Court, Raja expressed concern over restrictions on PTI’s founder, claiming he was being denied his constitutional right to two meetings per week, despite court orders affirming the right. He also alleged that the government was actively working to detain PTI members as part of a wider crackdown on the party.

When asked about Form 47, Raja refrained from commenting on Sher Afzal Marwat’s recent statement but maintained that the outcome of the electoral process was evident to all. He clarified that any decision regarding Marwat’s party membership rests solely with PTI’s founder.

Calling the current period one of coercion and fabricated narratives, Raja vowed to continue resisting the government’s actions. He also hinted at possessing substantial evidence related to the events of November 26, though he did not provide specifics.

Taking a dig at the recent appointment of a former federal minister, Raja remarked that in a government built on deception, figures like Khattak are bound to secure key positions.
