Lahore, April 18, 2025: The Pakistan women’s cricket team is celebrating a landmark achievement after securing qualification for the ICC Women’s ODI World Cup 2025, to be held later this year in India. The players, coaches, and fans alike hailed the moment as a defining step forward for women’s cricket in Pakistan.
Captain Fatima Sana led the celebrations, praising the team’s grit and composure throughout the qualifiers.

The Green Shirts secured their place in the tournament with dominant victories over Ireland, Thailand, West Indies, and Scotland, finishing the qualifiers undefeated.
Wicketkeeper Sidra Nawaz described the qualifying campaign as “intense,” adding that the immediate focus remains on finishing strong.
“It wasn’t an easy journey. Our goal now is to finish the qualifiers unbeaten before shifting all attention to the World Cup.”
All-rounder Natalia Parvaiz credited the team’s mental strength and unity.
