Eid Milad-un-Nabi (PBUH) celebrated across the country.

Islamabad, September 17,2024-Eid Milad-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) is being celebrated across the country today with great religious devotion and solemnity. The day begun with a thirty-one-gun salute in the Federal Capital, Islamabad, and a twenty-one-gun salute in all provincial capitals. Special prayers were offered after Fajr for the unity of the Muslim Ummah and for the progress and prosperity of the country. A public holiday was observed across the country to celebrate the birth of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam).

The Ministry of Religious Affairs and Interfaith Harmony hosted a National Seerat Conference in Islamabad and a Mehfil-e-Naat and Seerat Prize Distribution Ceremony, is also being organized by the Ministry, at Islamabad.

To mark this auspicious occasion, streets, roads, buildings, mosques, and homes were beautifully illuminated with colorful lights. Peaceful Milad processions were held in cities nationwide where scholars and religious leaders emphasize thed life and teachings of Prophet Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam), urging adherence to his Sunnah. Mahafil-e-Milad were organized in cities and towns to further highlight the Seerat-un-Nabi (Sallallahu Alayhi Wa Sallam) and his teachings.
