Rawalpindi, May 10, 2025: In a resolute response to what it described as “unprovoked Indian aggression,” Pakistan on Saturday launched a series of Fateh-1 surface-to-surface missiles targeting key Indian military installations across the Line of Control (LoC), according to a statement from the military’s media wing, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The missile strikes were solemnly dedicated to the memory of Pakistani children who were martyred during recent cross-border hostilities. The ISPR confirmed that the precision-guided missile system — developed indigenously in Pakistan — was deployed as a measured act of retaliation in response to the deaths of several civilians, including schoolchildren, which Islamabad has accused Indian forces of deliberately targeting in border areas.

“Pakistan has neither forgotten nor will ever forget the martyrdom of its innocent children,” the ISPR said in a heartfelt statement. “The Fateh-1 response carries with it the prayers, pain, and resolve of an entire nation.”

While the exact coordinates of the missile launch sites were withheld for operational security reasons, military sources described the strikes as “calibrated yet firm,” with all targets carefully selected based on intelligence identifying military infrastructure directly involved in the recent escalation.

Footage released by the military showed multiple launches of the Al-Fatah missile system from undisclosed locations. The ISPR emphasized that the operation was carried out with maximum caution to avoid civilian casualties on the Indian side — a distinction it noted in contrast to what it described as India’s indiscriminate and reckless attacks on non-combatants.

The ISPR reiterated Pakistan’s resolve to defend its people while upholding international humanitarian standards, warning that any further provocations would be met with a strong and proportionate response.
