London, October 14,2024-The British charity organization Oxfam has pointed out a dangerous situation, warning that people in northern Gaza are dying of hunger. Oxfam’s representative, Bushra Khalidi, stated that the Israeli army has halted the supply of food to northern Gaza for the past ten days, leading to a severe food shortage there.

Bushra Khalidi explained that due to this grave situation, people in northern Gaza are in a state of extreme desperation, forced to eat fodder, donkeys, and horses to stave off hunger. She further clarified that most Palestinians prefer to die in their homes rather than embark on a “death march” toward southern Gaza.

Expressing her concern over this dangerous situation, she added that she does not know how people in northern Gaza will survive, as they will either die of hunger or fall victim to mass killings. Bushra Khalidi stated that this level of destruction in Gaza has never been seen before. It is also worth noting that Israeli forces have been conducting air and ground operations in Gaza since October 7, 2023, resulting in the martyrdom of over 43,000 Palestinians and injuries to more than 100,000. During this time, Israeli forces have also killed representatives of American and British aid agencies and the United Nations.
