Pakistan’s registered voters surpass 139 million: ECP

Islamabad, September 20, 2025: The Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) announced on Saturday that the country’s total registered voters have reached 139.49 million, marking a significant rise ahead of the next general elections.

According to figures updated as of September 11, male voters now stand at 72.354 million (53.62 per cent), while female voters number 62.595 million (46.38 per cent).

Punjab continues to hold the largest voter base with over 76.8 million registered citizens, followed by Sindh with 28.278 million, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa with 23 million, and Balochistan with more than 5.6 million. In the federal capital, Islamabad, the number of registered voters is 1.21 million.

The ECP said the updated data was compiled after reviewing the latest electoral rolls.
