Islamabad, July 23, 2026: President Asif Ali Zardari on Thursday extended his warmest felicitations to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and the brotherly people of Egypt on the occasion of their National Day.

In his message, President Zardari said Pakistan and Egypt enjoy close and cordial relations founded on shared values, mutual trust, and long-standing bonds of friendship. He noted that the two countries have maintained a tradition of cooperation and mutual understanding, both bilaterally and in multilateral forums, while continuing to work closely on issues of common interest.

The president said the expanding cooperation between Pakistan and Egypt in trade, investment, education, culture, defence, and people-to-people exchanges was encouraging and reflected the growing strength of bilateral ties.

Reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to further enhancing relations with Egypt, President Zardari said Islamabad highly values its partnership with Cairo and remains dedicated to deepening cooperation for the mutual benefit of the people of both countries.

He also appreciated the active coordination between the leadership of Pakistan and Egypt in efforts aimed at resolving the recent regional conflict and expressed confidence that the enduring friendship and cooperation between the two countries would continue to grow, contributing to regional harmony, sustainable development, and greater economic opportunities.
