New York, September 24, 2025: Prime Minister’s Focal Person for the Youth Program, Syed Zeeshan Naqvi, joined a protest demonstration outside the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in support of Palestine, reaffirming Pakistan’s strong stance against Israeli aggression in Gaza.
The demonstration, held on the sidelines of the 80th UNGA session, saw participation from representatives of various countries, all voicing solidarity with the Palestinian people.
Addressing the gathering, Zeeshan Naqvi called on the international community to take concrete measures to halt what he described as Israel’s “terrorist acts.” He urged that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu be declared a terrorist for committing “genocide in Gaza.”
Naqvi stressed that Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif would “vigorously raise Israeli atrocities” at the General Assembly, highlighting Pakistan’s consistent role as a strong and unwavering voice for the Palestinian cause. He emphasized that Muslim leaders must unite on one platform to stop the ongoing violence and oppression in Gaza.
Protest participants raised powerful slogans against Israel, demanding an immediate ceasefire, unhindered humanitarian access, food supplies for besieged civilians, and the withdrawal of Israeli forces from Gaza.
Naqvi reiterated Pakistan’s determination to continue exposing Israeli atrocities at all international forums and pledged the country’s full support for the Palestinian people in their struggle for justice and statehood.
