Islamabad, December 31, 2025: Pakistan on Wednesday expressed deep concern over the resurgence of violence in Yemen, reiterating its support for the country’s unity, sovereignty and territorial integrity, as well as all efforts aimed at achieving lasting peace and stability.

In an official statement, Pakistan strongly opposed any unilateral steps by Yemeni parties that could further escalate tensions, undermine ongoing peace efforts and threaten not only Yemen’s stability but also peace and security in the wider region.

Pakistan welcomed regional initiatives aimed at de-escalating the situation and maintaining peace in Yemen. The statement also expressed Pakistan’s complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and reaffirmed Islamabad’s firm commitment to the security of the Kingdom.

Reiterating its long-standing position, Pakistan said it continues to support the resolution of the Yemen conflict through dialogue and diplomacy. Islamabad expressed hope that the Yemeni people, along with regional stakeholders, will work collectively toward an inclusive and durable settlement that ensures peace, stability and prosperity for Yemen and safeguards regional security.
