PM Shehbaz, Saudi Crown Prince discuss regional security, reaffirm Pakistan-KSA solidarity

Islamabad, December 31, 2025: Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif held a warm and cordial telephone conversation on Wednesday evening with His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

During the call, Prime Minister Shehbaz conveyed his respectful regards and best wishes to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, and to the Crown Prince. He also thanked HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman for his continued warmth and support toward Pakistan.

Both leaders reaffirmed their shared commitment to strengthening the long-standing fraternal ties between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, which have reached new heights in recent months. The discussion also focused on the current regional security situation, with the Prime Minister emphasizing the importance of unity and harmony within the Ummah amidst prevailing challenges.

Highlighting Pakistan’s position, Prime Minister Shehbaz stressed the country’s complete solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and underlined the need to maintain regional peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.

In response, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman expressed gratitude for the call and reiterated Saudi Arabia’s intention to expand cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest. He also conveyed his wish to undertake an official visit to Pakistan in the coming year, further strengthening bilateral ties.
