Karachi, December 31, 2025: Chairman of the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP), Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, on Wednesday extended New Year greetings to the people of Pakistan, expressing hope that 2026 will bring peace, reconciliation, political stability, and shared prosperity for the nation.

In a message issued by the Media Cell of Bilawal House, the PPP chairman reflected on the challenges of the outgoing year, noting that they also reaffirmed Pakistan’s unity and resilience. He paid tribute to the valour of the Pakistani armed forces for their decisive role in the Indo-Pak conflict of May 2025, calling the victory a safeguard of national sovereignty and a reinforcement of the bond between the people and their defenders.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari emphasized that the New Year must be dedicated to dialogue, reconciliation, and healing, underlining that political stability is essential for economic recovery, development, and public welfare. He stressed that national progress is achieved when differences are resolved through democratic institutions.

Reaffirming the PPP’s commitment to democracy, constitutional supremacy, and social justice, he stated that the party continues to uphold the vision of Quaid-e-Awam Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto—centered on people’s power, dignity, and equality.

Concluding his message, Bilawal expressed confidence that unity and collective resolve will guide Pakistan towards a peaceful, prosperous, and progressive future, wishing all citizens a hopeful and successful New Year 2026.
