Islamabad, January 1, 2026: A 94-member delegation of students from Air University, H-11 Campus, accompanied by a faculty member, visited Pakistan’s Parliament House on Thursday as part of an educational study tour. The delegation was warmly received by senior officials of the Senate.

During the visit, the students toured the Senate Museum, where they received a detailed briefing on Pakistan’s parliamentary history, the legislative process, the role of the Senate in national affairs, Senate working procedures, elections, and other parliamentary functions. A special documentary showcasing the Senate’s history and key parliamentary milestones was also screened, drawing keen interest from the students.

The delegation was further oriented in the Senate Hall, where they were briefed on the procedures of Senate sessions, stages of legislation, and the functioning of parliamentary committees. The session highlighted the effective role of the parliamentary structure and the importance of committees in the law-making process.

The students also visited the “Constitution Avenue Gallery,” where they learned about the framing of the Constitution of Pakistan and major milestones in the country’s constitutional history.
