Islamabad, January 19, 2026: Ambassador Haririmana Fatou, High Commissioner of Rwanda to Pakistan, paid a courtesy call on Ms. Wajiha Qamar, Minister of State for Federal Education and Professional Training, on Monday.
During the meeting, both sides underscored their shared commitment to further strengthening Rwanda–Pakistan cooperation, particularly in the fields of information technology, nursing, health, artificial intelligence, skills development, and teacher training.
The two officials also reaffirmed their strong resolve to promote girls’ education, describing it as a cornerstone of inclusive and sustainable development. They agreed that enhanced collaboration in education and capacity-building would contribute significantly to empowering youth and women in both countries and to deepening bilateral ties.
