Islamabad, January 29, 2026: Dr. Oumer Hussein Oba, Ambassador of Ethiopia to Pakistan, paid a courtesy call on Mr. Brahim Romani, Ambassador of Algeria, at the Algerian Embassy in Islamabad.
During the meeting, the two ambassadors exchanged views on matters of mutual interest and explored avenues for advancing bilateral and regional cooperation to further strengthen the long-standing relations between Ethiopia and Algeria.
Ambassador Dr. Oumer H. Oba reaffirmed the Ethiopian government’s firm commitment to regional integration, in line with the principles of Pan-Africanism. He noted that the expanding cooperation between the two countries reflects their shared vision of promoting prosperity not only for their peoples but also for the wider region.
Ambassador Brahim Romani said the Algeria highly values its fraternal ties with Ethiopia, and reiterated his government’s commitment to further enhancing bilateral cooperation across various sectors for the mutual benefit of both nations.
