Islamabad, February 20, 2026: A meeting was held between the Ambassador of Tajikistan and the Special Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce Syed Hamid Ali, to explore avenues for strengthening bilateral cooperation.
During the meeting, both sides discussed ways to expand collaboration in key areas including trade development, food security, and the enhancement of ties in sectors of mutual interest. The discussions focused on identifying practical measures to boost bilateral trade and facilitate greater economic engagement.
The two sides expressed readiness to enhance cooperation through sector-specific programmes, implementation of joint projects, and the exchange of knowledge and expertise. They underlined that stronger trade relations would play a vital role in promoting regional integration and sustainable economic growth.
The meeting reflected the shared commitment of Pakistan and Tajikistan to deepen economic ties and build long-term, mutually beneficial partnerships.
