China says International community following Japan’s military security trend due to its history

Beijing, February 25,2026: Chinese Foreign Ministry spokesperson Mao Ning commented on Wednesday on the proposal submitted by the Japanese Liberal Democratic Party to suspend restrictions on weapons export.

According to Mao Ning, the international community is closely following Japan’s military security trend due to its history of invasions in the past.

In recent years, the changes of the Asian country in this area demonstrate, once again, the ambition of the Japanese right-wing forces to promote remilitarization.

The spokesman asked the international community to remain alert to Japan’s related actions, aimed at defending the international order established after World War II and jointly combat the country’s attempts to promote a new kind of militarism.
