Islamabad, March 2, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday met Jiang Zaidong, Ambassador of China to Pakistan, to exchange views on the evolving regional situation and broader international developments.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the discussions focused on the rapidly changing regional environment and its wider implications. Dar underscored the importance of dialogue, diplomacy and sustained consultations to address emerging challenges.
He reaffirmed Pakistan’s principled commitment to peace and stability in the region and beyond, while both sides agreed on the need for continued engagement amid unfolding developments.
The meeting highlighted the close coordination between Pakistan and China on regional and global issues of mutual interest.
