Islamabad, March 2, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Monday spoke with Abdullatif bin Rashid Alzayani, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Bahrain, to discuss the rapidly evolving regional security situation.

According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments across the Middle East and underscored the need for restraint amid rising tensions.

During the conversation, Dar emphasized the importance of collective efforts aimed at de-escalation, dialogue and the promotion of peace and stability in the region. Both sides agreed to remain in close contact as the situation continues to unfold.

The discussion reflects Pakistan’s consistent call for diplomatic engagement and avoidance of further escalation, as regional tensions intensify following the latest wave of hostilities in the Middle East.
