Islamabad, March 4, 2026: Federal Minister for Petroleum Ali Pervaiz Malik on Wednesday held a meeting with Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, to discuss ongoing energy cooperation and supply arrangements.

During the meeting, the minister highlighted that Saudi authorities had assured the security of energy supplies through the Port of Yanbu on the Red Sea, which could help Pakistan meet its energy requirements amid the evolving regional situation.

Ali Pervaiz Malik expressed gratitude for Saudi Arabia’s continued support, noting that the Kingdom has consistently extended assistance to Pakistan in times of need. He informed that one vessel has been assured dispatch from Pakistan to the Port of Yanbu to lift crude oil for onward supply. The minister further expressed hope that crude oil shipments from Yanbu would be prioritized for Pakistan to ensure uninterrupted energy availability.

Ambassador Nawaf bin Said Al-Malki stated that the Kingdom is fully aware of the prevailing circumstances and reaffirmed that Saudi Arabia stands firmly with Pakistan to address any emergency energy requirements.
