Islamabad, March 5, 2026: Pakistan on Thursday expressed serious concern over recent attacks targeting the brotherly countries of Türkiye and Azerbaijan, warning that such incidents could further escalate tensions in an already volatile regional environment.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the attacks constituted a clear violation of international law and the established principles governing relations between states.
The Foreign Office reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong solidarity with Türkiye and Azerbaijan, emphasizing Islamabad’s continued support for the two countries during the evolving situation.
Pakistan also called on all sides to exercise restraint and urged the use of dialogue and diplomacy to prevent further escalation and ensure regional peace and stability.
