Islamabad, March 24, 2026: Pakistan’s Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation with the United Arab Emirates’ Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan to discuss the evolving regional situation.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments, with Dar underscoring the importance of maintaining peace and stability. He called for immediate de-escalation and stressed that dialogue and diplomacy remain the only viable path forward.
The deputy prime minister also expressed deep sorrow over the loss of precious lives, including three Pakistani nationals, and reaffirmed Pakistan’s steadfast solidarity with the UAE.
Both leaders exchanged greetings on the occasion of Eid and agreed to remain in close contact over the unfolding situation.
