Tokyo, March 29,2026: The Ambassador of Pakistan to Japan attended a vibrant cultural festival hosted by the Pakistani community in Osaka, celebrating the rich cultural heritage and enduring people-to-people ties between Pakistan and Japan. The event featured a unique wrestling exhibition that brought together Japanese sumo wrestlers and traditional Pakistani wrestlers, including an engaging malakhra bout, highlighting the shared legacy and preservation of traditional sports in both countries. The festival was further enlivened by captivating performances from the Sakai cultural group, alongside a soulful qawwali presentation by the renowned Jamshed Sabri Qawals, which received great appreciation from the audience.
