Karachi, April 6, 2026: Ambassador of the Tajikistan to Pakistan, Yusuf Sharifzoda, participated in the international tourism exhibition “Pakistan Travel Mart” held in Karachi, where he engaged with key stakeholders to promote bilateral cooperation in the tourism sector.
During the event, the ambassador held a series of meetings with representatives of government institutions, the business community, and leading tourism companies. Discussions focused on enhancing collaboration in tourism, attracting investment, developing infrastructure, and expanding direct business linkages between Tajikistan and Pakistan.
Highlighting Tajikistan’s tourism potential, Ambassador Sharifzoda presented detailed insights into the country’s natural landscapes, cultural and historical heritage, and opportunities in mountain, eco, and cultural tourism.
Both sides also emphasized the importance of strengthening partnerships between tourism companies and promoting joint travel initiatives to boost tourist exchanges.
Participants reaffirmed their commitment to expanding mutually beneficial cooperation in the tourism sector and increasing tourist flows between the two countries.
Officials noted that Tajikistan’s participation in international exhibitions such as Pakistan Travel Mart plays a vital role in showcasing its tourism potential and strengthening broader economic ties with Pakistan.
