Islamabad, April 8, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held a telephonic conversation on Wednesday with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the evolving situation in the region.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two leaders exchanged views on the latest developments in the Middle East amid ongoing tensions and diplomatic efforts.
During the call, Dar shared updates on Pakistan’s ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting dialogue and encouraging peaceful engagement among key stakeholders. He highlighted Islamabad’s efforts to support de-escalation and advance long-term peace and stability in the region.
