Federal govt abolishes all temporary vacancies in all Ministries, Divisions

Islamabad, November 05,2024- Federal Government has decided to abolish all temporary vacancies under the right-sizing measures and in this respect Ministry of Finance has informed all the Ministries and Divisions about the decision of the Federal Cabinet.

According to the order, all temporary and emergency posts will be abolished and Ministry of Finance has ordered concerned Ministries and Divisions to ensure the implementation of the Cabinet decisions.

The posts of Naib Qasids, security guards, cleaners and gardeners will be abolished. Moreover, the posts of Sanitary workers, record sorter, carpenter, electrician and plumber has been eliminated.

There will also be a complete ban on new recruitment for these posts. The federal government has decided to outsource cleaning, plumber and gardeners in all government Ministries and Divisions. These decisions have been taken under the recommendations of the Government’s Right Sizing Committee. In future ministries, divisions and institutions will not be able to make new recruitments.
