Islamabad, April 19, 2026: Mohammad Ishaq Dar, Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Pakistan, received a telephone call from his Polish counterpart Radosław Sikorski on Sunday, with both leaders reaffirming their commitment to strengthening bilateral relations.
According to a statement issued by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the two dignitaries expressed satisfaction over the positive momentum in Pakistan–Poland ties and agreed to enhance cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
During the conversation, the leaders also held an in-depth exchange of views on key regional and global developments. Sikorski commended Pakistan’s diplomatic efforts in facilitating a ceasefire between Iran and the United States, and appreciated Islamabad’s continued commitment to dialogue and diplomacy aimed at promoting peace and stability.
The Polish foreign minister also extended an invitation to Dar to undertake an official visit to Poland in June 2026, further signaling growing engagement between the two countries.
Both sides reiterated their resolve to maintain close coordination on international issues and to further deepen bilateral cooperation across multiple sectors.
