Pakistan extends warm felicitations to Italy on National Day

Islamabad, June 2, 2026: Pakistan has extended its heartfelt felicitations to the Government and people of Italy on the occasion of Italy’s National Day, Festa della Repubblica.

In a message issued on Tuesday, Pakistan conveyed its warmest greetings and best wishes to the Italian nation as it commemorates this important national occasion.

The message stated that Pakistan values its longstanding friendship and cooperation with Italy and looks forward to further strengthening bilateral relations in areas of mutual interest. It also expressed hopes for continued peace, prosperity, and progress for the people of Italy.

Italy celebrates Festa della Repubblica annually on June 2, marking the historic 1946 referendum through which Italians voted to establish the Republic, shaping the country’s modern democratic foundation
