Islamabad, June 13, 2026: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar held a telephone conversation late Friday night with Egyptian Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty to discuss the evolving regional situation and ongoing diplomatic initiatives aimed at promoting peace and stability.
According to the Foreign Office, the two leaders exchanged views on recent developments in the region and welcomed the positive momentum generated by ongoing diplomatic engagements. They expressed hope that the continuing dialogue between the United States and Iran would yield an early and constructive outcome, helping to strengthen regional peace and long-term stability.
During the conversation, both foreign ministers underscored the importance of sustained diplomatic efforts and constructive engagement to address regional challenges and prevent further escalation.
The two sides also agreed to remain in close contact and continue consultations on issues of mutual interest, reaffirming the strong ties between Pakistan and Egypt.
