Rawalpindi, January 7, 2025: Three soldiers were martyred, and 19 terrorists were killed during three separate intelligence-based operations in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, according to a statement by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) on Tuesday.

The operations, conducted between January 6 and 7, resulted in the martyrdom of Lance Havaldar Abbas Ali (38) from Ghizer, Naik Muhammad Nazir (37) from Skardu, and Naik Muhammad Usman (37) from Attock. The soldiers lost their lives in an exchange of fire with terrorists during an operation in Karak, where three members of the banned group Fitna Al-Khawarij were neutralized.

In a separate operation in the Matani area of Peshawar district, security forces, acting on intelligence reports, engaged militants effectively, killing eight Khawarij terrorists. Another operation in Baizai, Mohmand district led to the elimination of eight more terrorists following a fierce gun battle.

“Sanitization operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining terrorists,” the ISPR stated, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to eradicating terrorism. “The sacrifices of our brave soldiers strengthen our resolve to eliminate this menace from the country.”
