Dubai, January 27, 2025: Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United Arab Emirates (UAE), Faisal Niaz Tirmizi, inaugurated the Pakistan Pavilion at Arab Health 2025, held at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

The pavilion, organized under the aegis of the Trade Development Authority of Pakistan (TDAP), features 40 leading Pakistani companies showcasing the nation’s strengths in healthcare manufacturing and innovation. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade & Investment Counsellor, along with senior officials from Pakistan’s diplomatic mission in the UAE, attended the event.

Arab Health 2025, one of the world’s premier healthcare exhibitions, is held under the patronage of the UAE’s Ministry of Health and Prevention. This year’s event has drawn over 3,800 exhibitors and more than 60,000 healthcare professionals and industry leaders from over 70 countries. It highlights nine key product sectors, including medical equipment, surgical goods, diagnostics, wellness, and healthcare technology.

Ambassador Tirmizi praised Pakistan’s globally recognized expertise in surgical and medical product manufacturing, highlighting the significance of diversifying exports to sustain economic growth.

“Our surgical and medical products are celebrated for their quality worldwide. Pakistan’s participation in Arab Health reflects our commitment to driving innovation and expanding our footprint in global healthcare markets,” he said.

The Ambassador emphasized the importance of leveraging Arab Health as a platform for fostering business-to-business linkages, advancing research and development, and promoting digital healthcare services.

“Our mission is dedicated to doubling the number of Pakistani exhibitors next year. Arab Health has been a vital hub for collaboration, innovation, and shaping the future of healthcare for the past 50 years,” Mr. Tirmizi remarked.

Pakistani exhibitors expressed satisfaction with the event’s arrangements and acknowledged Arab Health’s role in unlocking new export opportunities in the UAE and the broader GCC markets.

The exhibition also features scientific conferences offering insights into healthcare trends, advancements in digital health, artificial intelligence, and strategic investment opportunities in the sector.
