Dubai, February 2, 2025: Pakistani singer Atif Aslam left fans in awe with his live performance of “Dil Se Re” at a recent concert in Dubai. The iconic song from Shah Rukh Khan’s 1998 film Dil Se, composed by AR Rahman, was brought to life with Atif’s passionate rendition, captivating the audience.

Atif shared a video of the performance on Instagram, where the crowd cheered enthusiastically as he began singing. In his post, he wrote:

“Some masterpieces y’all wanted to hear. LEKIN Dil hai to dard bhi to hoga na …. P.S. Thank you for loving Channa. #borderlessworld #atifaslam #aadeez #dubai.”

Fans quickly filled the comments with love and excitement, though some still preferred Rahman’s original version of the song.

This performance is not Atif’s first Bollywood connection. In 2015, he recorded “Gerua” for SRK’s Dilwale, though the final version was sung by Arijit Singh. In a 2021 interview, Atif revealed he had sent the song to SRK’s team, but it never reached the actor.

Despite restrictions on Pakistani artists, Atif Aslam remains widely popular in India and across the world. His performance of Dil Se Re in Dubai proved that great music knows no boundaries.
