Karachi, February 24, 2025: A major development in the Mustafa Amir murder case has surfaced as Zuma, another victim of Armaghan’s brutality, recorded her statement with the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC), exposing new allegations against the prime suspect.

Zuma revealed that Armaghan lured her into a room under false pretenses and subjected her to severe physical assault, accusing her of leaking information about a call center. She claimed he beat her with an iron rod, causing serious injuries, and later threatened to frame her in a false case. She also alleged that hospital staff were pressured into falsifying her medical report.

This testimony further intensifies the investigation into Armaghan, who is already implicated in the kidnapping and murder of 23-year-old Mustafa Amir. Police had earlier arrested Armaghan after a prolonged gunfight at his DHA residence, where bloodstains and digital evidence were recovered. Investigators suspect his involvement in ransom demands, drug trafficking, and organized crime.

Mustafa Amir was allegedly abducted on January 6, but the case gained attention when Balochistan Police discovered a charred body in a torched car days later. Authorities claim his killers stuffed the body in his own vehicle and set it ablaze in Balochistan’s Dureji area. Police also arrested Sheraz alias Shavez Bukhari, a key suspect, who reportedly disclosed crucial details.

Meanwhile, the Special Investigation Unit (SIU) and Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) are pursuing leads on money laundering, cybercrime, and an international drug network linked to the case. A judicial magistrate recently approved Mustafa’s body exhumation, while an anti-terrorism court (ATC) placed Armaghan on police remand for further interrogation.

As the case unfolds, police records reveal Armaghan as a habitual offender, previously accused of extortion, kidnapping, and illegal possession of weapons. Investigators suspect the murder stemmed from a personal dispute, possibly involving a woman who later fled abroad.

With growing public and media scrutiny, authorities continue to piece together the full extent of Armaghan’s alleged crimes as they work towards justice for Mustafa Amir.
