Karachi, February 20, 2025: Gold prices in Pakistan surged to an all-time high on Thursday, mirroring global market trends.
According to the All-Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Sarafa Association (APGJSA), the price of 24-karat gold per tola rose by Rs1,000, reaching a historic Rs309,000. Meanwhile, the price of 10 grams of 24-karat gold increased by Rs857 to Rs264,917.
In the international market, gold saw a modest rise of $9, reaching $2,953 per ounce, with an additional premium of $20.
Silver prices also climbed sharply, with 24-karat silver gaining Rs28 to reach Rs3,468 per tola in the local market.
