Lahore, April 29, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has tentatively unveiled the schedule for the much-anticipated five-match T20 International (T20I) series between Pakistan and Bangladesh, set to be played across Faisalabad and Lahore later next month.

According to sources familiar with the development, the Bangladesh national team is scheduled to arrive in Pakistan on May 21. The series will kick off at Iqbal Stadium, Faisalabad, with the first two T20Is set for May 25 and May 27. The action will then shift to Lahore’s Gaddafi Stadium for the final three matches, scheduled for May 30, June 1, and June 3.

This bilateral series marks a key event in Pakistan’s ongoing international calendar as preparations continue ahead of major ICC tournaments.

In terms of squad composition, the PCB is reportedly considering five players for inclusion, comprising a mix of experienced campaigners and rising talent. The shortlisted names include Sahibzada Farhan, Hussain Talat, Hasan Ali, Faheem Ashraf, and emerging fast bowler Ali Raza.

Historically, Pakistan holds a dominant record over Bangladesh in the T20 format, having won 16 out of 19 encounters. Bangladesh has registered only three victories against the Men in Green.

The two teams last clashed in a T20I series during the 2022–23 tri-nation tournament in New Zealand, where Pakistan emerged victorious in the final against the hosts.
