Rawalpindi, June 16, 2025: Security Forces neutralized five terrorists affiliated with the Indian-backed militant group Fitna al-Khwarij in two intelligence-based operations conducted on June 15 and 16 in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
According to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the first operation was carried out in Peshawar District following credible intelligence regarding the presence of Indian-sponsored militants. During the operation, security personnel swiftly surrounded the hideout and engaged in an intense firefight, resulting in the elimination of four terrorists, including key operatives identified as Haris and Baseer.
In a separate operation in North Waziristan, another terrorist was killed during an exchange of fire. Weapons, ammunition, and explosives were recovered from both sites.
The eliminated individuals were reportedly involved in multiple acts of terrorism in the region. Ongoing sanitization operations are underway to clear the area of any remaining threats.
Security forces reaffirmed their resolve to eradicate the scourge of terrorism and dismantle networks operating with foreign support.
