Islamabad/Rawalpindi, June 29, 2025: Security forces killed two terrorists and arrested two others during an intelligence-based operation (IBO) in Balochistan’s Duki district on Sunday, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The military’s media wing said the operation was launched based on credible intelligence regarding the presence of militants in the area. “Security forces effectively engaged the Indian-sponsored terrorists’ location. After an intense exchange of fire, two terrorists were neutralised while two others were apprehended,” the statement read.

A cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives was recovered from the slain terrorists, who were reportedly involved in multiple attacks in the region. A sanitisation operation is currently underway to eliminate any remaining threats.

“Pakistan’s security forces remain fully committed to rooting out the menace of Indian-sponsored terrorism and bringing all perpetrators to justice,” the ISPR added.

The latest operation follows a series of successful actions earlier this month against the Indian proxy group Fitna al Hindustan. In two separate IBOs conducted in the Mach area of Kachhi district and the Margand area of Kalat, seven terrorists were killed.

In Mach, five militants were neutralised after troops engaged their hideout. In Kalat, two more terrorists were eliminated in a targeted operation.

President Asif Ali Zardari and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on Sunday lauded the armed forces for their successful operation against Fitna al Hindustan in Duki. In separate statements, both leaders expressed pride in the bravery and professionalism of Pakistan’s security personnel.

“The entire nation stands united behind our forces. We are committed to eradicating the cancer of terrorism from our soil,” President Zardari said in a press release.

Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif reiterated the government’s resolve to eliminate terrorism in all its forms. “Our forces are the bulwark against terrorism and will continue their efforts until peace is fully restored,” he said, according to the PM Office.
