Rawalpindi, July 22, 2025: Security forces have eliminated a total of eight terrorists linked to the Indian-backed militant outfit Fitna al Hindustan during back-to-back operations in Kalat district, Balochistan, according to a statement issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The operations began on July 19, when an intelligence-based operation (IBO) led to the killing of four terrorists in the Kalat region. On July 21, security forces launched a follow-up sanitization operation in the surrounding areas, successfully neutralizing four additional militants of the same group.

During the second phase of the operation, troops also uncovered a terrorist hideout and seized a significant cache of weapons, ammunition, and explosives.

The ISPR stated that the operations were part of ongoing efforts to dismantle terrorist networks allegedly operating under foreign sponsorship. “Security Forces of Pakistan, in step with the nation, remain determined to thwart attempts by Indian proxies at sabotaging peace, stability and progress of Balochistan,” the military’s media wing emphasized.

The operations come amid heightened concerns over cross-border terrorism and destabilization efforts in the province. Authorities reaffirmed their resolve to eliminate any threat to national security through relentless counterterrorism measures.
