Lahore, October 9, 2025: The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Thursday announced a high-profile commentary lineup for the much-anticipated Pakistan–South Africa series, featuring a mix of international and local cricketing greats.

Leading the panel will be former South African all-rounder Shaun Pollock, who returns to Pakistan to join an elite group of former Pakistan captains — Aamir Sohail, Ramiz Raja, and Waqar Younis — along with former Test cricketer Bazid Khan.

Renowned sports anchor Zainab Abbas will host pre- and post-match shows on PCB’s PitchSide Studio, offering expert analysis and behind-the-scenes insights.

For the three-match T20I series in Rawalpindi and Lahore, Aamir Sohail and Ramiz Raja will team up with former Pakistan women’s team captain Urooj Mumtaz, bringing a diverse mix of perspectives to the commentary box.

The white-ball leg of the tour — comprising three ODIs in Faisalabad’s Iqbal Stadium from October 28 to November 8 — will feature JP Duminy and Vernon Philander joining the broadcast team, adding South African expertise and flair.

Zainab Abbas will continue her role as presenter throughout the series.

Cricket fans in Pakistan can watch the action live in high-definition on A Sports and Ten Sports, while Tapmad and Tamasha will provide livestreaming access across digital platforms.

The series kicks off with the first Test between Pakistan and South Africa at the Gaddafi Stadium, Lahore, on October 12.
