Islamabad, October 9, 2025: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar on Thursday received U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie Baker at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, where both sides discussed ways to further strengthen Pakistan–U.S. relations and enhance collaboration across multiple sectors.
According to a statement issued by the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office, the meeting reviewed the growing momentum in bilateral ties, following a series of high-level engagements held recently in New York and Washington, D.C.
Senator Dar expressed satisfaction over the positive trajectory of relations, reaffirming Pakistan’s commitment to continued engagement with the United States for mutually beneficial partnerships.
Highlighting Pakistan’s constructive diplomatic role in promoting peace and stability in the Middle East and the wider region, the Deputy Prime Minister underscored the need for collective international efforts to address shared global challenges.
Chargé d’Affaires Baker, meanwhile, conveyed the keen interest of U.S. companies in investing in Pakistan’s energy, critical minerals, and information technology sectors, recognizing the country’s potential for growth and innovation.
Both sides reaffirmed their resolve to maintain close dialogue and expand cooperation in diverse areas — including trade, investment, and regional security — to further advance Pakistan–U.S. relations.
