Talagang, November 4, 2025 — Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Punjab Secretary General Iqbal Khan has said that the upcoming Ijtma-e-Aam at Minar-e-Pakistan from November 21 to 23 will serve as a powerful display of national unity and solidarity.

Speaking at a special meeting of the District Shura, Zonal Nazm, UC Umra, and Baradar Tanzeem under JI Talagang, he said the historic gathering would set new records of public participation and herald a new political and national awakening.

Iqbal Khan called upon citizens to join JI chief Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman’s “Badal Do Nizam” (Change the System) movement to achieve the vision of a safe, strong, and prosperous Pakistan. He announced that thousands of men, women, and youth from Northern Punjab would actively participate in the event.

He urged party workers to mobilize people for mass participation and strengthen JI’s peaceful struggle to end corruption and outdated governance structures. “The Minar-e-Pakistan Ijtma-e-Aam will mark the beginning of a decisive phase in our national movement aimed at restoring citizens’ rights, implementing the Islamic system, and ensuring a dignified life for all,” he said.

Iqbal Khan added that Hafiz Naeem-ur-Rehman would unveil a comprehensive plan of peaceful national resistance and reform during the Ijtma, under the slogan “Change the System.”
