Faisalabad, November 8, 2025: In a display of class and consistency, former Pakistan captain Babar Azam added another glittering milestone to his illustrious career, completing 15,000 international runs during the third ODI against South Africa at the Iqbal Cricket Stadium on Saturday.

The elegant right-hander reached the landmark with a trademark cover drive, a shot that has become synonymous with his batting artistry and composure at the crease.

Babar’s latest feat places him among an elite group of modern-day batting greats, further cementing his status as one of the most accomplished batters of his generation.

What makes the achievement even more remarkable is the pace at which he has accomplished it. Few players in cricket history have reached 15,000 runs across formats as swiftly as Babar — a testament to his technical brilliance, unwavering discipline, and relentless hunger for runs.

Since making his international debut in 2015, Babar has been the cornerstone of Pakistan’s batting lineup, consistently delivering under pressure and setting new standards of excellence for the national side.
