Moscow, November 19, 2025: Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar met with Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov on Tuesday, reviewing the full spectrum of bilateral relations and expressing satisfaction at the current positive trajectory of ties between the two countries.

The meeting, held on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) Council of Heads of Government (CHG) meeting, also saw the deputy prime minister congratulate his Russian counterpart on the successful convening of the SCO-CHG session.

Both leaders highlighted the crucial role of their countries’ leadership and institutional mechanisms in further strengthening bilateral relations. They also exchanged views on key regional and international issues, underlining the importance of coordinated action on the global stage.
